Three Ways Rewards Are Distributed
When a campaign has a limited reward pool (for example, a fixed number of codes, allocations, or prizes from the partner), CCTools distributes those rewards using three mechanics. The partner picks what fits the campaign:- Raffle - Everyone who completes all the required tasks is entered into a random draw. Winners are picked at random from that pool after the campaign ends. Doing the tasks earlier gives you no advantage over doing them later - every valid entry has the same odds.
- First-Come-First-Served (FCFS) - The reward goes to the first participants to finish all the required tasks, in order of completion, until the pool runs out. Here, speed matters: finishing early secures your spot.
- Ranked winners - Prizes are attached to positions instead of to a pool: first place gets one prize, second place another, and so on down the list. Winners are ordered against the criterion the campaign states up front (for example, the quality of a post you submitted), so it is neither a random draw nor a race to finish. Ranked prizes are configured as their own tier, so a single campaign can run a ranked set and a raffle pool at the same time.
What Level and Human Score Gate
Your leaderboard position never decides who wins. Ranking high on the leaderboard gives you no advantage in a draw, and no campaign picks winners by total XP. Level does matter, but as a gate rather than a ranking. A campaign can require a minimum level to join, and a request below that bar is refused. Raffle campaigns can also split their pool into tiers defined by a level range, so your level when you join decides which tier you land in and therefore which prize pool you are drawn from. Inside a tier, every valid entry still has the same odds. A campaign can also require a Human Score tier, either Verified or Elite. That check runs against your live Human Score when you join, so a score sitting below the bar is refused, and campaigns paying real prizes increasingly carry this requirement. Keeping your Human Score healthy is what keeps you eligible for them. Past those gates, the rule holds: selection is random (raffle), by finish order (FCFS), or by position on the campaign’s stated criterion (ranked winners). It is never by how much XP you have accumulated.How the Draw Works
For raffle campaigns, the draw happens after the campaign deadline passes, never before. The process is:- We take the pool of everyone who completed all required tasks
- Winners are drawn at random from that pool
- For higher-value prizes, basic integrity checks are applied first - for example, filtering out clusters of accounts sharing one IP address or sets of tasks all completed within the same few seconds (a sign of automation rather than a real person)
