Overview

Every CCTools user has a public profile at cctools.network/u/{slug}. Your profile is publicly viewable and shareable, even without login. By default, your profile is set to public, but you control what appears on it through privacy toggles on the Privacy page. Your public profile acts as your Canton Network identity card, displaying your level, achievements, activity streak, badges, and favorite projects.

What Appears on Your Profile

Header Section

Your profile header shows:
  • Display name - The name you set on Profile > Identity
  • Avatar - Your profile picture
  • Level bubble - Your current level (1 to 50, the cap) displayed as a number in the top right of your avatar ring
  • Level name and color - Your tier (e.g. “Validator”, “Architect”, “Canton OG”) rendered in your level’s color
  • Member since - The month and year you joined CCTools
  • Era badge - Genesis or Discovery era badge, displayed in the top right of the banner
  • Human Score badge - A trust-signal badge (Verified or Elite) appears below your name if you have a verified Score and have not hidden it (see Privacy controls below)

Activity Stats Grid

When Show activity stats is enabled, your profile displays 8 cards:
  • Total XP - Cumulative XP earned (formatted as 1.2k for 1200+)
  • Streak - Current consecutive daily active days, or ”-” if no active streak
  • Badges - Count of earned badges (excluding era badges)
  • XP Rank - Your global rank by total XP, or ”-” if unranked
  • Actions - Total submissions, upvotes, interests, and referral completions
  • Referrals - Confirmed referral count
  • Upvotes given - Total project upvotes you have cast
  • Interests - Total opportunity interests you have marked

Level Card

Below the header stats, a card displays your progression:
  • Level Crest - Shows your current XP, progress bar toward the next level, and milestone indicator
Your earned badges appear in two sections:
  • Top Badges - Your 3 rarest badges (sorted by rarity: Legendary, Epic, Rare, Uncommon, Common), displayed large with name and rarity level
  • All Badges - All remaining badges in a compact grid, up to 12 visible. A “more badges” button shows if you have earned more than 15
  • Era badge - A standalone section for your Genesis or Discovery era tier
Click any badge to see its full name, description, rarity, and the exact date you earned it.

Activity Calendar

A 90-day check-in calendar shows your daily activity across 3 months. This calendar:
  • Displays the last 90 days of your check-ins
  • Shows your current streak and best streak (lifetime)
  • Uses color-coded cells: level color for active days, amber for today, and light gray for inactive days
  • Lists the count of active days per month

Favorite Projects

Your top 3 projects by upvote frequency appear as linked cards, each showing:
  • Rank (1st, 2nd, 3rd) in a colored pill
  • Project logo and name
  • Category tag
  • Total votes this project has received from all users
  • Your votes (×N voted) if you have upvoted it multiple times
  • A colored bar showing relative vote weight
Clicking a favorite project takes you to its ecosystem profile.

Human Score Badge

For verified-and-above users, a Human Score badge appears under your display name in the header (when enabled via privacy controls). The badge shows:
  • Shield icon and tier name (Verified or Elite) in green
  • A clickable button that opens an explainer showing what the score measures and how it is calculated
The badge is a public trust signal. If your score is below the verification threshold (26 points), or if you have not connected a Canton wallet, the badge does not appear. If your account is restricted (banned), a red “Restricted” badge appears instead. For more detail on how the Human Score works, see the Human Score page.

What Is Hidden

The following never appear on your public profile:
  • Email address - Only you can see it
  • User ID - Internal UUID not exposed
  • Account settings - Password, 2FA, session data
  • Disabled sections - Any section you toggle off in Privacy remains hidden
  • Admin and operator accounts - The profile returns “User not found”
  • Private profiles - Returns “This profile does not exist or is private”

Getting and Sharing Your URL

Copy Your URL

On the public profile page, click the Share button at the top right to open the Share Modal. Use the three action buttons:
  1. Copy URL - Copies your full profile URL to the clipboard (e.g., https://cctools.network/u/yourusername)
  2. Post on X - Opens a pre-filled tweet with your display name, level, tier, rank, and XP, with a link to your profile
  3. Save Image - Downloads a profile card PNG with your avatar, name, level, tier, and top stats

Your URL Slug

Your URL slug is derived automatically from your display name when your account is created: lowercased, accents folded, anything else turned into a hyphen, capped at 32 characters, with a numeric suffix if it collides with an existing slug. Once assigned it is stable. There is no slug field to edit on Profile > Identity, and renaming your account later does not change your URL.

Privacy Controls

Visit Profile > Privacy to manage what others see on your public profile. All toggles default to ON. Toggling a setting off immediately removes that section from your public profile view:
  • Public profile (master toggle) - When OFF, your profile returns “This profile is private” to all visitors. You always see your full profile. This is the primary privacy gate.
  • Show activity stats - Controls visibility of level, XP, streak, badges, calendar, and stats (Rank, Actions, Referrals, Upvotes, Interests)
  • Show Score - Controls whether the Human Score badge appears in your header (note: requires Verified+ tier and an active score; Newcomer users see no badge regardless)
Note: You always see your own full profile. Privacy toggles only affect what other visitors see.
  • For information on what the Human Score measures and how to improve your score, see the Human Score page.
  • To share a profile card or manage your profile identity, see Profile Settings.
