What are Campaigns?

Campaigns are sponsored quests created in partnership with Canton ecosystem projects. Each campaign has a set of tasks to complete, and finishing all tasks earns you XP, badges, and sometimes exclusive rewards (redemption codes, links, etc.). Campaigns appear on the Earn page and are marked with the partner project’s branding.

Joining a Campaign

To participate in a campaign:
  1. Go to the Earn page and find an active campaign
  2. Click Join to enter the campaign
  3. Complete each task in the campaign (they can be done in any order)
  4. Once all tasks are done, what happens next depends on the campaign type
For campaigns that hand out a code or a link, the reward is claimed automatically the moment the last required task is verified. For raffle campaigns nothing is claimed at that point: finishing the tasks enters you into the draw. Once the campaign ends and the draw is confirmed, a claim button appears on the campaign page only when the prize is a redemption code. Most raffle prizes are external, meaning the partner delivers them off-platform (an on-chain payment, for instance), so there is nothing to claim on the page. Some campaigns have a participant limit, so join early to secure your spot.

Task Types

Campaigns can include different types of tasks:
  • Follow on X - Follow the partner project’s Twitter/X account (requires X connection)
  • Retweet - Retweet a specific post
  • Post on X - Publish your own post that meets the campaign’s requirements (required mentions, keywords, minimum length)
  • Upvote project - Upvote the partner project in the Ecosystem directory
  • Show interest in Earn - Show interest in the partner’s Earn opportunity
  • Visit URL - Visit a specific page or website
  • Join Discord - Join the partner’s Discord server
  • Join Telegram - Join the partner’s Telegram group or channel
  • Email signup - Subscribe to the partner project’s email list
  • Complete a Learn Path - Finish a Learn Path on CCTools
  • On-chain quest - Do something real on Canton (a swap, a trade, a paid call) and have it verified against the partner’s endpoint using your party ID
  • Text submission - Submit text (e.g., your Discord ID, email, etc.)
  • Custom tasks - Other tasks defined by the partner
Each completed task earns XP. Completing all tasks in a campaign may also award a special badge.
