Your Human Score is a credibility signal that helps the Canton Network community identify verified humans and filter out bots and sybils. Unlike a raw number, you see it as a descriptive tier that matches how other identity platforms (Worldcoin, BrightID, Galxe) communicate trust.

What it measures

The Human Score combines multiple corroboration signals to answer a single question: “Is this a unique human?” It pulls from three main categories.
  • Identity and security: Email verification, two-factor authentication, and an uploaded avatar
  • On-chain and social proof: Canton wallet connection, linked social accounts (X, Discord, Telegram, GitHub), account age, and activity patterns
  • Community signals: Engagement consistency (a daily streak of 8 days or more, or 11 or more actions in the last 30 days)
The score is computed by a materialized view that refreshes every four hours. Banned accounts are hard-capped at a score of 0 and never Verified, regardless of other signals.

Score tiers

Your score maps to one of four tiers. Every stamp is priced by how expensive it is to forge, which puts the highest score anyone can reach at 73, not 100. The Verified floor is 26: you need both a connected Canton wallet (the anchor) AND a score of at least 26 to be Verified. This two-part gate (anchor plus corroboration) ensures that a wallet alone is not sufficient, and soft factors alone are never sufficient. Only Verified and Elite earn a visible shield badge on your public profile. Newcomer accounts show no badge.

What “Verified” means

Verified is a formal gate: your account is only Verified if you have BOTH of these conditions met.
  1. A connected Canton wallet (Send, 5N Loop, or another Canton client)
  2. A Human Score of 26 or higher
This mirrors the “anchor plus corroboration” pattern used by Gitcoin Passport and other credibility platforms. Your Human Score never blocks you from joining a campaign or completing its tasks, and first-come-first-served code and link rewards never depend on it. Some raffles require the Verified or Elite tier, which is checked when the winners are published.

How to improve your score

The concrete levers are the stamps you earn. Connect a Canton wallet, add social and identity proofs, stay active, and keep your account fresh. Your score increases as you earn stamps, and you can always see your progress on the Score tab.

Where you see it

Your Score tab Visit /profile/score to see your detailed breakdown. The page shows your current tier, tier description, a progress ring, and every stamp you can earn: organized by Identity, Socials, Wallet, and Activity. Earned stamps show your actual contribution to the score; unearned stamps show the target points. Your public profile If you have a Verified-and-above tier and the show_human_score privacy toggle is on, your score badge appears as a shield pill in your public profile header (/u/[your-slug]). The badge shows your tier name (Verified or Elite) but never the raw number. Where badges render The Verified badge also appears on your profile in the CCTools hub and on leaderboards.

Privacy control

The show_human_score toggle on the Privacy tab (/profile/privacy) controls whether your score badge is visible to others on your public profile. When the toggle is off, your score remains private to you: only you see it on your own /profile/score page. All other privacy rules (is_public, show_activity_stats) continue to work as before. Remember: changing privacy settings only affects what others see. You always see everything on your own account.

FAQ

Can I see my raw score? No. The raw score, which tops out at 73, is internal and only surfaces as a tier label and the points breakdown. This matches how other identity platforms present trust: tier names are clearer and less gamifiable than raw numbers. Do I need to visit /profile/score to earn stamps? No. Stamps are earned automatically when you complete the action (link a social, enable 2FA, stay active). The /profile/score page just shows you the breakdown. Is my score ever deleted? Only if you delete your account. Until then your score is kept: removing individual stamps (e.g. unlinking a social) will lower it, but it will not reset to zero. A banned account scores 0. How often does my score update? The score recomputes every four hours on a cron schedule. The stamp list on /profile/score is read live, so a stamp you add or remove shows there right away, while your score, and the tier others see, follow at the next recompute.
